Notice for Business Partners: Access to us
Last weekend we helplessly watched catastrophic scenes, the likes of which we do not remember in Slovenia. Unfortunately, we are counting the dead, thousands of people have been evacuated, many have been left without their homes, infrastructure and economic facilities have been destroyed, and quite a few companies have recorded indescribable damage. I sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are safe and unharmed.
In the coming days, we will assess the consequences in the country. Fortunately, there were no major inconveniences at JUB, so we started work normally and we are solving any problems on the fly. The biggest challenge in the given situation will of course be logistics (delivery and dispatch) due to closed and damaged roads. The highway network is already open and normal for all traffic.
Due to rising waters, the bridge on the main road from the highway exit in front of Dol pri Ljubljani has been badly damaged, so this section of the road is completely closed. We proposed that, until further notice, freight traffic should take place via the Domžale exit (on the Ljubljana - Maribor highway) and then through Ihan to Dol pri Ljubljani. From the direction of Ljubljana, it will therefore be necessary to extend the route along the highway from the existing Šentjakob exit in the direction of Maribor to the next "Domžale exit" and then through the village of Ihan to Dol pri Ljubljani.
From the direction of Maribor, leave the highway one exit earlier than usual (Domžale exit) and go through Ihan to Dol pri Ljubljani.
The bypass road through Ihan is two-lane and wide enough for freight traffic. At certain corners, you need to be careful and patient when two trucks meet. Since the road passes through two villages, the speed limit is lower. Due to the heavy traffic, pay special attention to the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. In case of additional questions, please contact our logistics (00386 1 5884 165) and see the picture below.
Make sure you all notify your carriers of this change. Let's stay safe.
